This Dunkaroos Beer Has Actual Cookies, Vanilla Cream, And Sprinkles In It

One of the best things to happen to the snack world in recent history definitely has to be the return of Dunkaroos. Those classic ’90s packages full of cookies, vanilla frosting, and sprinkles brought so much joy to me as a kid and now they do the same as an adult, which is pretty cool. However, if you find yourself craving a mature twist on the treat, may I introduce you to Dunkaroos beer?

  1. It’s called Dunkabroos. Get it? The Dunkaroos-infused beer is the creation of Martin House Brewing Company based out of Texas and it’s absolutely genius. The idea of incorporating sweet snacks into beer isn’t necessarily a new one, but it is one that’s always welcome in my book, and this certainly doesn’t disappoint.
  2. So what does it taste like? This is a traditional ale with a twist: it’s brewed with cookies, vanilla cream, lactose, and sprinkles so that it tastes as close to real Dunkaroos as possible. You’ll still get a hint of that traditional beer taste just with a very sugary alteration. A drink and dessert combined? I’m into it!
  3. Making this was a labor of love for sure. “We actually did it! This beer is nostalgia in a can. It wasn’t easy tracking down all these tasty treats for ‘research’ but we were able to find a few. The flavors have been replicated perfectly,” the caption says in the company’s announcement photo. “It’s a sweet, cookie filled brew that even has that frosting finish (like when you save all the cream for the last cookie – y’all know what we’re talking about)!”
  4. Dunkaroos beer is on sale now! Dunkabroos went on sale on August 15 and was priced at $20 for a pack of four. Of course, it was massively popular despite the fact that they can’t ship it and you have to go pick it up in person, so they had to set a limit of four packs per person. Their first batch is all sold out now, but keep an eye on Martin House Brewing Company for the next batch since it will be coming back and then get out to Texas to get some!
