Engaged Couple Poses For “Moove The Date” Photos With Toilet Paper And Corona Beer

Engaged couple Alyson Brown and Christopher Heroux were supposed to be getting married soon. However, their wedding plans have had to be put on pause thanks to the current health crisis. While they’re not sure when they’ll be able to tie the knot, they did announce the postponement in style with a “moove the date” photoshoot that is making people smile.

  1. When life gives you lemons, you have to make lemonade. Chances are, Brown and Heroux have lost precious time and money by putting off their wedding but ultimately, it can’t be helped. Instead of getting down about it, they contacted Jessi Kittrell of Happy Acres Photography in Gloucester, Virginia to help them craft some legendary “moove the date” photos.
  2. The photos feature the most iconic items of the current era. In addition to showing the couple in face masks and bodysuits, they’re also surrounded by everything from Charmin toilet paper, Corona beer, Kleenex tissues, Clorox antibacterial wipes, and even some Lysol cleaning spray for good measure.
  3. Their sign says it all. The “moove the date” photos also show Brown holding a sign with their original wedding date of April 18 crossed out with text written below it. “This is some real BULL. CORONA postponed our WEDDING,” the sign read. “When life gives you lemons, add a beer and a lime – said no bride ever.” At least she’s keeping her spirits up!
  4. A sense of humor is key. What’s happening in the world right now is really scary and sad can easily be overwhelming. That’s why it’s so important to have a laugh when you can and to try to take the disappointments in stride as much as possible. The couple’s resilience and ability to look on the bright side really resonated with followers of the Happy Acres Photography Facebook page, with the post garnering more than 4K likes and nearly 5K shares with an additional 2.5K comments.
