Expert Claims Aliens Don’t Come To Earth Because Humans Are Too Stupid

We may have figured out how to create fire, invented cars and planes, and even uncovered string theory, but a Harvard astronomy professor has claimed that the only reason Earth hasn’t been visited by aliens is that humans are too thick to entertain. Avi Loeb also claims that aliens already came by the planet in 2017 but decided not to stop because they hate green grass and didn’t want to deal with a bunch of idiots, apparently.

  1. We should be setting up UFO detection posts. Loeb believes that anytime anyone claims they’ve seen a UFO, we should be getting “detection posts” to shut down hoaxes and see if any of the conspiracy theories out there hold water. Sure, sounds good.
  2. Why do aliens hate green grass? That’s a pretty long-winded explanation, but Loeb has one. Here’s what he told the Daily Star: “The most common stars in the galaxy are dwarf stars. Most stars are about a tenth of the mass of the Sun and they are also twice cooler than the Sun so they are red. They emit mostly infrared radiation and if there is life on planets next to them… that life will have infrared eyes and the grass will not be green on those planets, it will be dark red. So if you think about interstellar travel agents, they will not market the Earth as a desirable destination because for the infrared eyes of most of the creatures in the Milky Way the green grass is not particularly appealing, they want dark red grass so this could be an explanation for Fermi’s Paradox [of] why they don’t come to visit us.” That barely made any sense to me, but let’s go with it.
  3. And what’s this about humans being idiots? Loeb has an explanation for that. Basically, it comes down to the fact that we’re always fighting each other instead of working together in life. “For some reason, humans do not cooperate and that’s really unfortunate, and it’s not a sign of intelligence so I can imagine a much smarter kid on the block.
  4. Loeb insists he’s not a conspiracy theorist. He’s not necessarily saying there are tons of aliens out there and the government is in cahoots about that but hiding it from the public. “I don’t believe in conspiracies by the way, if there was anything to do with an alien civilization the news would have leaked somehow,” he said. He thinks we should put money into really seeing what’s out there so we can gather as much information as possible. “People can report things from personal experience that are not necessarily true,” Loeb said. “We should invest a relatively small sum of money, it will not cost much, in deploying the best instruments we have now in the same sites from where the reports came and monitor the environment for a long enough time.”
