Fans are growing more worried about Tammy Slaton after the trailer for Season 4 of TLC’s “The 1000-lb Sisters” dropped this week. Tammy was already struggling with serious health problems due to her weight at the end of last season, and it doesn’t look like things are improving much this time around, leading viewers to express their concerns on social media.
- Tammy Slaton is ready to go to rehab. She says as much in the trailer, as her sister Amy adds that Tammy’s body is “shutting down.” It’s clear from the clips of Tammy in a hospital bed, as well as the one of a doctor telling her that she has “real risks” due to her morbid obesity, that something has to change.
- She needs life-changing surgery. If Tammy doesn’t get the number on the scale down a bit the surgery will be unsafe to perform. However, she needs the procedure so that she can lose more weight and hopefully save her own life. It’s an incredibly scary situation for Tammy Slaton and those who love her. The 36-year-old stopped breathing and could have died this year, so something needs to change quickly.
- Hopefully, the people around her can help her. Tammy recently got married to Caleb Willingham at Windsor Lake Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio. That means she has a partner who can potentially support and encourage her as she works to restore her health. With her husband and her family on her side, fingers crossed she can make a change.
- The new series of “The 1,000-lb Sisters” will premiere on TLC in 2023. A special episode featuring Tammy’s wedding to Caleb will air on January 17. Here’s hoping that some big changes are coming for Tammy next year and that she’s able to change her life for the better. Fans are rooting for her!
