Fans Are Calling Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show The Best Of All Time NBC

Last night, the Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals to win the Super Bowl LVI title, but many fans weren’t even paying attention to the game – it was all about the halftime show. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem came together to give a performance that fans are now calling the best ever to be seen during the sporting event.

  1. If you’re a fan of ’90s and early ’00s hip hop and R&B, this was incredible. The artists performed some of their biggest hits of the era, from “California Love” and “No More Drama” to “Lose Yourself” and “In The Club.”
  2. It was a great dose of nostalgia. While it’s all fine and well to have new artists singing recent hits, everyone loves a bit of nostalgia, especially when some of the biggest and most legendary tracks are being performed.
  3. Fans couldn’t be more pleased with the show. “No words. Snoop. Dre. Eminem. Mary J. 50 Cent. Kendrick. Best #HalfTimeShow!” one person tweeted. Another simply added: “Best. Halftime. Show. Ever.” Can’t say I disagree!
  4. Dr. Dre was hyped up for the performance before he took the stage. As soon as the lineup was announced, he released a statement saying: “The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career. I’m grateful to JAY-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment.” It seems it lived up to his and everyone else’s expectations!
