Zac Efron has been known as an absolute Zaddy for a while now, and for good reason. Moving to Australia has done him all kinds of good. He’s tanned, muscly, a bit brawny, and just super hot. That’s why it was even more perplexing when Efron turned up in a new video for Earth Day will Bill Nye with what seemed to be a totally different face. Say what?!

- Fans believe Efron looked “absolutely unrecognizable.” It’s unclear whether it was an effect on the camera that made Efron look totally airbrushed or if he’s actually done something to alter his appearance. Either way, it’d be impossible not to notice that he looks totally different than the last time we saw him.
- So many people took to social media to voice their confusion. “Not zac efron having a whole new face…. wtf happened,” one person said. Another added: “is Zac Efron planning to be casted as Shrek in a live action?” All jokes aside, it is kinda weird.
- Celebrities change their appearance pretty regularly. Efron’s whole new look could be proper cosmetic surgery, though I feel like he’s so conventionally attractive already that he definitely didn’t need it. Or, it could be down to makeup that was put on him for the video or maybe even just the camera lens itself. There has to be an explanation!
- Bottom line: Zac Efron is hot in all incarnations. Even though he does look a bit different in the video, he still looks pretty handsome, right?
