Florida Man Arrested For Defecating On Dead Possum During Rush Hour Traffic Pinellas County Sheriff's Office

A Florida man was arrested after he was spotted dropping trow in the middle of rush hour traffic to defecate on a dead possum. Rudy Wilcox, 45, was taken into custody by Clearwater police on Wednesday, November 15 just after 5:30 p.m. when witnesses spotted him and called the incident in.

Rudy Wilcox saw no problem with relieving himself in front of everyone.

When witnesses told police they saw Wilcox squatting in the middle of Belcher Road and Willow Tree Trail intersection “in full view of the motoring public,” officers immediately responded to the scene.

“The def. was observed defecating on a deceased possum with his pants lowered and his [backside] exposed,” an affidavit by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office obtained by The Smoking Gun stated.

The responding officers noted this was still happening when they arrived on the scene.

Wilcox, who is homeless, denied the allegations.

Despite police witnessing this first-hand (in addition to the bystanders who called it in), Rudy Wilcox told police it never happened and said that the officer who did see it “doesn’t see straight.”

However, that wasn’t enough to get him off this time.

“Physical evidence was viewed at the scene which corroborates the allegations alleged,” the affidavit continued.

He was not said to be under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident and was charged for exposing himself.

He was booked at the Pinellas County Jail, though it’s unclear if he still remains in custody or whether he was ultimately released.
