Florida Woman’s 5 AM Performance Of ‘The Nutcracker’ Ends With Her In Handcuffs And A Man In Hospital

A Florida woman was arrested after her 5:30 a.m. rendition of The Nutcracker left her husband and police less than impressed. Anastacia Tasch, 44, is said to have approached her husband while he was sleeping on the living room couch in their home in Tampa and crushed his genitals with her bare hands. Ouch – that sounds pretty painful!

  1. It happened without provocation. Obviously, there’s nothing her husband could have done to provoke Tasch’s actions. The complaint affidavit reveals that she simply walked over to him and “without provocation or permission,” grabbed his genitals.
  2. She didn’t do it particularly gently. Police say that she grabbed her husband’s bait and tackle “with such force that the victim crumpled over and had trouble walking.” This led him to call 911 to report that his genitals were crushed.
  3. Tasch claimed she was simply trying to get him in the mood. When interviewed by police, Tasch “advised she did this in a sexual manner because she was attempting to arouse the victim in an effort to have sexual intercourse.” Clearly her husband didn’t agree with that! She did, however, admit that she did so without consent.
  4. Tasch was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. She was released shortly after her arrest pending a future court appearance.
