The ‘Friends’ Reunion Trailer Is Finally Here And It Will Definitely Make You Cry NBC

It seems like we’ve been talking about the Friends reunion for years, and I guess we kinda have. However, we can finally stop talking about it and actually get ready to watch it. In fact, HBO Max, which will stream the one-off special starting later this month, has even dropped a full-length Friends reunion trailer offering fans a sneak peek of what’s in store. Needless to say, it’s pretty emotional.

  1. The whole cast got together for the reunion. Thankfully, no one opted out on this very special event. Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc all came together to reflect on and reminisce about their incredible experience on what is arguably the most iconic sitcom in TV history.
  2. There are so many special guests. Guest stars who appeared on the original series including Tom Selleck, Reese Witherspoon, and Maggie Wheeler (Janice!) are all on hand for the special, but the guest list is SUPER long and includes David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai. It’s hard to understand how some of these people fit in or why they were necessary since fans only really care about the people who were actually involved in the original show, but oh well!
  3. It hasn’t been revealed how long the Friends reunion will be. Given the number of guest stars and the fact that we do need actual time with the Friends cast (and they need time to do their walk-through of the iconic sets), I’d venture to guess that it might be about two hours long, which would be ideal. Any less would leave fans including myself wanting more. However, HBO Max hasn’t confirmed runtime just yet, so we’ll have to wait and see.
  4. The Friends reunion will be available to stream on HBO Max on May 27. I don’t know about you but I can’t wait. I’m emotional just watching the trailer so I can only imagine how many tissues I’ll need when watching the actual special!
