Galaxy Fudge Is The Intergalactic Sweet Treat Everyone Is Making During Lockdown

If there’s one thing we’ve all done way more of this lockdown than ever before, it’s baking. Whether you’ve become a banana bread or a sourdough pro or something else entirely, you’re probably spending more time in the kitchen. The next time you’re there, why not whip up this galaxy fudge recipe for a super colorful and really delicious treat? You won’t be sorry!

  1. Isn’t the universe beautiful? If you’ve ever seen the Northern Lights, for instance, you know just how miraculous the universe is. Galaxy fudge gets its name because it swirls beautiful pinks, blues, and purples into one sugary snack and it’s one of the best things you’ll make this year (seriously, trust me on this one).
  2. There are a few different recipes for Galaxy fudge. While you’re free to customize your fudge with your own favorite ingredients/add-ons, Tyla has an awesome recipe on behalf of Instgrammer @bakingwiththegayles that is simple, to the point, and sure to be a crowd-pleaser for whoever gets to taste it.
  3. So what do you need to make it happen? This recipe in particular calls for unsalted butter, heavy cream, caster sugar, vanilla extract, mini marshmallows, white chocolate, food coloring, and your choice of sprinkles. Yep, that’s really all it takes to make galaxy fudge!
  4. It’s pretty easy to pull together too. You don’t have to be an advanced level baker to make this. After boiling the cream, butter, sugar, and vanilla in a pan, you wait for the sugar to dissolve before removing from the heat, immediately adding the white chocolate and marshmallows, and dividing everything into four bowls. Each of your different food colorings will go into each bowl. Those colors then get mixed and swirled into a lined pan and the mixture cools after you add your sprinkles. Voila! Eat up and enjoy!
