While some brand collabs are a little less successful than both might have hoped (looking at you, Mountain Dew Doritos!), sometimes a hybrid product comes along that’s so genius that you wonder how it wasn’t always a thing. Case in point? Good Humor and Pop-Tarts teaming up for a new Brown Sugar Cinnamon ice cream bar that you’ll want to eat by the boxful.
- Where has this collab been all our lives? Everyone knows that Brown Sugar Cinnamon is the best flavor of Pop-Tarts — that’s undisputed fact. Same goes for Good Humor’s Strawberry Shortcake bars (a childhood classic!). This product takes the best parts of both of those foods and combines them into one for the ultimate sweet treat and I’m obsessed.
- There are three layers to these things! In classic Good Humor style, these bars have three distinct but complementary layers that make up the bar. While the box for these bad boys doesn’t say exactly what those layers are, it seems safe to assume that the inner core is brown sugar cinnamon-flavored ice cream, followed by a vanilla ice cream layer and then some brown sugar cinnamon crumbles on the outside.
- I wonder if they’ll make other Pop-Tart flavors. While Good Humor was right to start with the brown sugar cinnamon flavor, Pop-Tarts come in many delicious varieties, from Frosted Strawberry to Frosted Raspberry and even Vanilla Cupcake. The opportunities are endless here when it comes to future collaborations, so I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed!
- These are out in stores now, so pick up a box when you see them! You should be able to get a hold of the Good Humor and Pop-Tarts collab bars anywhere there’s a frozen aisle and ice cream/ice cream bars are sold. The next time you’re at the supermarket, Target, etc. keep your eyes peeled!
