As I’ve gotten older, my palate has matured and my tastes have become a tad more sophisticated. That means instead of order a bottle of Stella at the bar, I now order gin & tonics. I really love the bitter, astringent taste and just find it really enjoyable. That’s why I’m desperate to order my drink next time with Gordon’s Mediterranean Orange Gin. It looks so good!
- Yum, orange gin! While original gin is tasty on its own, orange is the perfect flavor to accompany the alcohol here. It lends a very slight sweetness without taking away that tasty bitterness I love. Ugh, I want a glass now, please and thank you.
- Sadly, it’s only available in the UK. Gordon’s Mediterranean Orange has been spotted in Londis stores in the UK, which means you probably won’t find this Stateside. However, if you’re looking forward to a trip you can take after all this lockdown craziness is over, this is a pretty great excuse to visit the UK in the near future. Pay for an extra bag and fill ‘er up!
- It’s technically not even out until May 26. The bottles will hit the big supermarkets from the end of May and will retail for £16.50, which is a pretty reasonable price. If you’re planning a big summer party, grab a few bottles and get ready to dazzle your guests with some pretty solid cocktails, thanks to Gordon’s.
- There are two other flavors as well! Gordon’s also has a White Peach and a Sicilian Lemon flavor on offer as well if you really want to up your gin collection. Again, those are UK-only, so if you’re in the US, you’ll have to miss out on this. However, the better news is that if you are in Britain, these two flavors are already on supermarket shelves so you can grab them now, which makes waiting for Mediterranean Orange just a little easier.
