Aren’t grandpas the best? I have fond memories of my own building me all sorts of things as a kid, from a birdhouse (which I helped with) to a dollhouse that I was gifted one Christmas. My relationship with my grandfather is one of my happiest memories of childhood, and I bet the little boy whose grandpa bull him a roller coaster in the back yard will grow up feeling the same.

- First of all, how talented is the grandpa?! Building a roller coaster even on a small scale takes some serious talent and know-how and this is incredibly impressive. He apparently built this with his own hands with some wood and a lot of time and effort and my heart is melting just looking at it.
- The little boy’s mom shared a video of the coaster on Twitter. User @HUNNITBANDBRIA revealed that her father, the little boy’s grandfather, had begun construction on the roller coaster on May 3 and while he still wasn’t finished, the pair were “having the time of their lives.” It certainly looks like they were!!
- The finished product is way too impressive. In a follow-up video, the little boy’s mom shared a follow-up video of her son riding the completed roller coaster as his grandpa ran alongside it to ensure he was safe. I don’t know about you, but I seriously wished I was a kid again just so I could ride something like this!
- This is just so precious and creative. The grandpa clearly made his grandson this roller coaster just to make him happy and give him a joyful experience. That’s the selfless love of a grandparent that just can’t be matched by any other relationship (except maybe a parent, of course). There’s so much terrible stuff going on in the world right now but this is just a little glimpse of goodness that we should all be grateful for.
