‘The Greatest Showman’ Is Coming To Disney+ Next Month

Reality is pretty terrible right now, which is why so many of us are embracing escapism wherever we can get it. There’s nothing better than losing yourself in a whimsical book or movie, and we’re all getting another chance to do that with The Greatest Showman coming to Disney+ next month. Talk about some good news!

  1. Has there ever been a better movie to sing along to? I mean, Mamma Mia aside, The Greatest Showman has blessed us with one of the catchiest, most amazing soundtracks in movie history for sure. The music was so popular that it spawned several chart hits and loads of massively famous artists even came together to re-record the album together. It’s legendary!
  2. The Greatest Showman cast is so legendary. I mean, it has someone for everyone in it! There’s Hugh Jackman (of course), plus Zac Efron, Zendaya, Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson, and so many other incredibly talented people. That alone makes it amazing, but the performances are stellar too!
  3. Disney+ gets all the good stuff. Adding The Greatest Showman is simply the latest awesome addition to the streaming service and certainly won’t be the last. However, it does fit right in with their entertaining, engaging, and magical offerings, so it was a great choice all-around.
  4. There’s still a sequel coming. It was announced back in 2018 that there’s a follow-up to The Greatest Showman in the works, though it’s unclear how far along that project is now and when we can expect to see it in theaters, especially given all that’s happened/is happening in the world right now. However, I don’t care if it’s not out until 2030 – I’ll be there to see it!
  5. You can catch The Greatest Showman on Disney+ from August 14. There are a few more weeks to wait, but it’s not long now. I can’t wait!
