New Grinch Horror Movie That Will ‘Ruin Christmas’ Drops Trailer

New Grinch Horror Movie That Will ‘Ruin Christmas’ Drops Trailer Atlas Film Distribution

A new Grinch horror movie called “The Mean One” has dropped its first trailer, and it looks absolutely horrifying. While the Grinch is known for being curmudgeonly (before his heart grows three sizes, of course), it’s safe to say that he never redeems himself in this gory retelling. In fact, he seems to have gone in the complete opposite direction — he’s out for blood.

  1. The Grinch horror movie is the latest childhood classic to get a ghastly makeover. Do you know about “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey”? Heard about the upcoming Bambi horror movie? Slasher film companies are all about taking some of the most innocent, beloved childhood classics and making them absolutely terrifying. If you love B-movies and lots and lots of fake blood, these might be for you.
  2. It’s all in good fun. While “The Mean One” is full of plenty of Grinch-y horror, it’s ultimately a fun move that will likely give you more laughs than screams. It includes lots of violence, ridiculous storylines, jump scares, and other cliche storytelling devices. If you appreciate this kind of thing, you’ll love this.
  3. Guess who’s playing The Grinch! It’s none other than David Howard Thornton, who you might know from his other leading role as Art the Clown in “Terrifier 2.” That one was said to be so terrifying that people were throwing up and passing out in the movie theater. Convinced about this movie yet?
  4. Fans are freaking out about the “Mean One” trailer after watching it. “The Grinch was my childhood! Can’t wait to see this!” one person remarked. Another said: This looks horrible; I’ll take five tickets. Taking all my friends with him.” A third added: “This trailer is so damn good I ready for it kinda scared but I’m down.” Do you agree? Will you go and see it?
