If A Guy Does These 10 Things, Don’t Let Him Go

As hard as it is to believe sometimes, there are a lot of great single guys out there. It’s all about finding the one who compliments your personality, wants the same things as you and, of course, makes a real effort. After all, if he loves you, he doesn’t just say it, he also shows it. That’s the dream — so if you find a guy who does these 10 things, don’t even think about letting him get away.

  1. Texts you good morning. If a guy is sending you texts periodically throughout the day, that means he’s thinking about you. He knows you might be too busy to have an actual conversation, but he still wants to check in and see how your day is going anyway. He isn’t hung up on rules or seeming like he’s too into you — he’s just making sure you know he cares, and what girl doesn’t love a guy who can admit that?
  2. Buys you tampons without a second thought. Considering it’s 2016 and everyone is well aware that periods are a fact of life, there’s no reason any guy should have a problem buying tampons. With that being said, those guys still exist. If the guy you’re seeing doesn’t even blink when you ask him to stop at the drug store on his way over, that means he’s not freaked out by a natural bodily function and that’s one less thing you’ll have to worry about.
  3. Knows your exact Starbucks order without even asking. Not only does he know you like your mocha non-fat with no whip, but he even remembers to get a tall in a grande cup so you can add a little bit of cold milk to the top. That means when he makes an early Saturday morning coffee run, he doesn’t have to wake you up to ask what you want and that’s priceless.
  4. Gives you orgasms on a regular basis. As every girl knows, there are three types of guys: the ones that give you orgasms seemingly without breaking a sweat, the ones that try really and do everything they can think of to give you an orgasm even if it doesn’t always work, and the ones that you’re pretty sure have never heard of a clitoris (or they have, and they just have no use for it). Needless to say, you want one of the first two types of guys.
  5. Offers to help your friend move. A guy who really wants to make a good impression on you will go out of his way to be nice to your friends and family. He knows their opinions matter to you and he also genuinely wants to get to know the people that are a big part of your life because his goal is to stick around– which means he’ll probably be seeing a lot more of those people.
  6. Makes you laugh until you cry. There will always be ups and downs in any relationship, but as long as you can still make each other laugh, you’ll be in pretty good shape. Looks don’t last forever and he’s probably going to drive you crazy at times, but if he can crack you up, it’ll be hard to stay mad at him.
  7. Actually listens to you. He might not necessarily sit riveted every night while you tell him about the minutiae of your workday, but he’s definitely listening when you talk about the important stuff, even if it doesn’t seem like it. He’ll prove it by bringing up little details later on and remembering things you said offhand. That’s a pretty good sign he gives a damn what you have to say, which is always nice.
  8. Gets you flowers for no reason. It doesn’t always have to be a special occasion for him to surprise you. Even if it’s the new issue of your favorite magazine or a cookie from the bakery near his work, it proves he’s always thinking about ways to make you smile.
  9. Brags about your accomplishments. Not only is he super proud if everything you’ve achieved, but he wants everyone to know it. He’s never threatened by your success or worried about how your career affects him — he’s just there to support you in everything you do, no matter what.
  10. Gives you space when you need it. Even if you guys are like two peas in a pod most of the time, all couples need to have a few separate interest and time away from each other. You don’t want a guy who’s too needy and won’t ever leave your side — you want a guy who has his own life and doesn’t need you, but he definitely wants you.
