Guy Ranks His Girlfriend’s Friends By Hotness And Gets Destroyed By The Internet

A guy who “jokingly” ranked his girlfriend’s friends based on their hotness on TikTok was reamed a new one by commentators who called out his toxic and cruel behavior. Phil and his girlfriend Sam run the TikTok account @phil_and_sam, but it seemed like this particular clip was courtesy of Phil, who captioned it: “My gf is pissing me off right now.” The video itself saw various photos of his girlfriend Sam with her friends along with numbers over the friends’ photos with a ranking for how attractive Phil found them. Needless to say, the internet didn’t take kindly to it.

  1. People immediately called out the toxicity. Not only is it offensive to your girlfriend to talk about how attracted you are to her friends, but it’s offensive to rank women based on physical attractiveness in the first place, and commenters weren’t shy about pointing it out.
  2. Phil was later forced to clarify. Given all the backlash he received, it was no surprise when Phil popped back up to try and cover his back. “Hey everyone! This is just a joke and all the girls are in on it! This actually wasn’t even my idea haha!” he claimed.
  3. It was all for views. Because people are the worst and the internet brings out the worst in people, Phil later claimed he was trolling all along but didn’t want to say it for a while because he wanted those sweet, sweet views. “No need for the unnecessary comments! If I said it earlier this video wouldn’t have got 2 million views :),” he commented. Gross.
  4. People still weren’t feeling the joke. Phil obviously thought this would absolve him of any negativity, but in fact it almost made him seem worse. “Joke or not, this is toxic,” one person responded. Another added: “Where’s the joke because I didn’t laugh.” Couldn’t agree more!
