Christmas is coming, and now that Thanksgiving is officially over, it’s time to start decorating for it. Christmas trees are a beautiful and absolutely vital to the holiday season, but if you have destructive kids and/or pets who like to ruin nice things, you might dread putting it up since you know it will only get ruined. Well, now you don’t have to worry about it—just get a half Christmas tree.
- It’s exactly what it sounds like. It’s a 6-foot-tall Christmas tree, it just only had branches at the very top, hence the half tree business. That means pesky pets or kids won’t be able to reach it to pull off all the decorations you spend so much time and energy putting together.
- That means way less decorating. Decorating your Christmas tree is fun and all, but it’s also very time-consuming. Imagine only having to decorate HALF a tree? That also means you’ll need fewer ornaments, lights, etc. so it ends up being cheaper too.
- It’s definitely a unique look. Even if it’s not your ideal Christmas tree, if it’s a better fit for purpose and keeps your decorations (and your kids/pets) safe, it’s worth it. - Unfortunately, it’s only available in the UK. The half Christmas tree is only being sold at Argos, a UK-based retailer, for £25.00 (or about $37). If you live there or know someone who loves you enough to go through getting this sucker packed up for you, paying insane shipping charges, filling out customs forms, and sending it your way, then you’re in luck. Otherwise, you may just have to dream of the day this is released in the United States.
