Hershey’s Caramel Whipped Cream Exists And It’s Over-The-Top Delicious

I try to eat well as regularly as possible, but I’m also no fool and I understand how delicious and important dessert can be to one’s diet. That’s why when I do indulge a bit in a piece of cake or some ice cream, I go whole-hog and top it with Hershey’s caramel whipped topping. This stuff takes deliciousness to the next level.

Hershey’s and Reese’s whipped cream came out earlier this year. The Reese’s whipped cream is also really tasty, but I was never all that fussed about the regular Hershey’s one… until they released a caramel version, then suddenly I was all in. I randomly came across it at my local supermarket and picked it up on a whim and OH MAN, am I glad I did.

It’s slightly sweet but not overly so. I find regular Hershey’s bars to be overly sweet to the point of diluting the chocolate taste, but thankfully, the Hershey’s caramel whipped topping doesn’t seem to have this problem. It’s not chocolatey at all, but the caramel taste does have a richness to it that I find really yummy.

Think of all the things you could put this stuff on! Whether you want to put it on top of pie, pudding, ice cream, cake, banana bread, or anything else you have lying around that wouldn’t be gross with caramel on it, this stuff can basically be used to elevate any dessert you have to god-tier.

It doesn’t seem to be out everywhere just yet. From the sounds of things (i.e. from people commenting on Instagram), Hershey’s caramel whipped cream seems to be pretty hard to come by in much of the country at the moment. To be fair, it is a new product, so it’s probably just a matter of time before it’s in supermarkets everywhere. When it does turn up in your local grocery store, I recommend picking up a can.
