There’s A ‘Hocus Pocus’ Dance Workout You Can Do Right From Your Living Room Disney

Without a doubt, Hocus Pocus is the best Halloween movie ever made and you’ll never convince me differently. However, generally speaking, I’m lounging on my couch eating copious amounts of chocolate when I’m partaking in some Sanderson sisters joy. That being said, if you’re serious about your love of the movie and your fitness, this Hocus Pocus-themed workout may be for you.

  1. It comes courtesy of fitness instructor and choreographer Joseph Corella. He put together an amazing cardio dance workout on YouTube honoring the greatness that is Hocus Pocus complete with full witch costumes! You don’t even have to press play yet to know that this is going to be amazing.
  2. It’s a full 25 minutes, which is pretty solid. I don’t want to do an hour-long workout, but 25 minutes of cardio I can totally handle, especially since it all involves dancing. You’ll still get a decent sweat on, especially if you happen to be wearing a costume while doing it, but you’ll also have a ton of fun.
  3. It’s actually one big dance tutorial. Instead of being a traditional workout, Corella uses the time to teach you the choreography to the legendary Hocus Pocus “I Put A Spell On You” number. You’ll need to be pick up moves and remember them so you can put it all together in the end, but even if you’re terrible at it, it’s all about the effort, right?
  4. It’s such a great way to celebrate such a good movie. We’ve all been spending way too much time sitting on our butts and not enough time moving. (Oh, just me? Ugh, guilty as charged.) Doing a Hocus Pocus workout is not only fun and will lift your mood, it also gets you moving a bit and takes your mind off the giant disaster that is 2020. You don’t need to convince me anymore!
