Holly Madison Says ‘Gross’ Hugh Hefner Used Baby Oil As Lube Even After She Asked Him To Stop

Former Playboy Playmate Holly Madison has revealed that Hugh Hefner secretly continued to use baby oil as lube despite her asking him to stop as it left her skin “irritated.” She described the experience, which took place after she moved into the infamous Mansion in 2001 when she was only 21, as “nonconsensual” and “gross.”

  1. There was a 54-year age gap between Holly Madison and Hugh Hefner. This drew scrutiny at the time, though Madison continued to live with him for seven years before moving out. It’s only in recent years that people have begun to realize just how exploitative and even abusive the relationship between the two really was.
  2. Madison opened up about this particular experience on her podcast, Girls Next Level. She hosts the show with fellow former playmate, Bridget Marquardt, who also lived with Hefner as one of his girlfriends for several years. On last week’s episode, Madison discussed Hefner’s love of using baby oil as lube during sex, which she called “an infection waiting to happen.”
  3. Hefner seemed downright obsessed with it. “Hef would use baby oil as lube,” Madison revealed. “I do not recommend this. It is an infection waiting to happen. It’s disgusting. I don’t know what his hang-up was with it.” She went on to say that she was “constantly irritated” down below because of it and was told by a gynecologist to stop using it. “It got to the point where I was constantly irritated by this baby oil because it throws off your pH, so you’re constantly gonna [have] yeast infections,” she said.
  4. Madison told Hefner he had to stop using the baby oil. Surely he would listen since it was important for her health. “I remember talking to the gynecologist about it and then telling Hef, ‘You need to stop using the baby oil. I can’t use it,’ and even telling him the gynecologist agreed with me, and he would argue with me and be like, ‘Well, people use baby oil on babies,'” she remembered. “And I’m like, ‘Yeah, on their skin. Not internally. You’re not supposed to put it there.'”
  5. However, Hefner ignored her request and continued using the baby oil in secret. “It got to the point where I refused to use it, but then other people would tell me that he would — in the bedroom — put it on his hand and then put it on me when my back was turned and I didn’t know he was doing it, which is so foul and so nonconsensual and so gross,” she said. “I had forgotten about that for the longest time, but I was reminded of it for some reason and it made me angry all over again.” What a terrible experience.
