An incestuous mom and son were caught having sex by the son’s wife, who immediately called police. Cheryl Lavoie, 64, and her 43-year-old son Tony of Fitchburg, Massachusetts were caught in the act on May 20 and are now facing time behind bars for their affair. Yikes!

- Police had no idea what they were in for when they arrived. When police arrived to the home to investigate reports of a disturbance, chances are they couldn’t have imagined what was going on behind closed doors. According to The Sentinel & Enterprise, officers were greeted by Tony’s wife’s cousin who told them about the incestuous mom and son and how Tony’s wife had walked in on them before understandably freaking out and calling 911.
- Both Tony and Cheryl claim it was the first time. When questioned by police on how he ended up having sex with his own mother, Tony replied, “I don’t know, it just happened.” Cheryl further added that she and her son had been getting closer over the previous months while he had been living with her and that things escalated after they started kissing.
- The officer decided there was enough evidence to charge the pair. They were given a summons to appear in court on August 20 to answer the felony charges. During their arraignment, they were both released on their own recognizance and ordered to stay away from each other. They’re due back in court on October 27.
- They both pleaded not guilty. Despite the fact that there was an actual witness to this behavior and that they both freely admitted what they’d done to the officer, both Tony and Cheryl pleaded not guilty in court. I suppose that’s because they’re freaking out about the potential 20 year prison sentence they could get, which makes sense.
- Tony did tell the officer that he wanted to get help. Needless to say, I think that’s necessary for both he and his mother moving forward.
