Indiana Man With ‘Crime Pays’ Tattoo Arrested After Police Chase Terre Haute Police Department

An Indiana man with a penchant for breaking the law is under arrest for a second time in under a year after leading police on another chase through the streets of Terre Haute. He was charged with resisting law enforcement and possession of methamphetamine plus maintaining a common nuisance and auto theft. Kind of ironic considering the giant “crime pays” tattoo across his forehead…

  1. Donald Murray has a serious problem. That’s indicative by the fact that he chose to get “crime pays” permanently inked across his forehead. Face tattoos are never a good thing, but advertising your love of crime in plain sight? That’s just idiocy.
  2. That isn’t his only ink. As if the “crime pays” tattoo wasn’t enough, he also has another one that says “PLAYBOY” in large letters down one side of his face. Just when you think it can’t possibly get any worse, you hear details like this and suddenly think, “Yep, it definitely can.” I wonder if the tattoo artist laughed when he did this “artwork”?
  3. He got in trouble last year too. In November 2019, Murray crashed a car into a tree while driving without headlights. He fled the scene on foot, and while witnesses didn’t know his name, it was that awful “crime pays” tattoo that was ultimately his undoing. He was arrested and charged with criminal recklessness and resisting law enforcement in December 2019, and it wasn’t long after he was released from jail in mid-January that he got in trouble again.
  4. This time, cops aren’t letting him go. According to the New Zealand Herald, two arrests for Murray was quite enough for police, who have foregone bail this time and are instead keeping him in custody pending a court appearance this week. Do you think he’ll finally learn that crime doesn’t pay? Will he want to get the tattoo removed? Who can say?
