While I’m more than happy to pour a bit of whiskey over ice and call it a day, sometimes I want a little something different booze-wise to mix with it. Sure, I could make my own cocktails, but now that Jack Daniel’s has three new canned ones that all look delicious, I don’t have to. I enjoy laziness almost as much as I love alcohol, so this is basically the best news ever.
- Jack Daniel’s is no stranger to pre-mixed cocktails. They’re usually in glass bottles, like Jack Daniel’s Southern Peach for instance, rather than canned – that’s the biggest difference. However, now that their three new drinks are available, I have a feeling they’re going to be game-changers.
- They’ll be so much easier to take with you on the go. I’m always afraid I’m going to break the bottles and they never fit right in my cooler, so I’m glad I won’t have that problem anymore! Jack Daniel’s canned cocktails are also easier to open (who wants to carry a bottle-opener with them all the time?) which is an added bonus.
- They come in three different but equally delicious flavors. Because this is Jack Daniel’s we’re talking about here, all three of the new canned cocktails obviously include whiskey. Duh! You can go with a classic whiskey and cola combo if you’re a traditionalist. If you like something a little sweeter, they also have a whiskey, honey, and lemonade drink. Finally, for people who are looking for something a little less heavy, there’s whiskey and seltzer. You’re looking at between 5% and 7% ABV depending on the flavor (the seltzer is lowest).
- Jack Daniel’s isn’t making these available everywhere. Their canned cocktails will only be available in select markets in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New Hampshire, Nevada, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin. They’ll be sold in packs of four for about $13.
