I love both Oreos and coffee, so an opportunity to combine the two is always one I will happily take. Sure, you could just eat some Oreos while sipping on a latte, but where’s the fun in that? Especially since Java Chip-flavored Oreos will apparently be hitting shelves soon, pleasing the coffee addict in all of us? I’m starving already!
- Oreo always comes out with the best flavors. I’ve lost count of my favorites over the years, but there have been some real doozies. They’re one of the best snacks when it comes to releasing exciting new varieties, and while I loved the Latte Thins, I feel like a proper-sized and textured Oreo with a coffee bite will be even better. Bring on Java Chip!
- Apparently, Java Chip Oreos will “be out very soon.” That’s according to Instagrammer @candyhunter who tends to get all the inside scoop well before anyone else. I don’t care how they get their information, I’m just grateful they’re sharing it!
- So what will they taste like? As you can probably imagine, Java Chip Oreos will combine regular chocolate Oreo biscuits (the best part, IMO) with coffee-flavored creme that has little chocolatey chips in it. I hope the coffee flavor is really strong here. If so, it’ll be my perfect cookie!
- These would be a great fall release. I drink coffee year-round, but I feel like there’s something that’s so autumnal about getting cozy in a hoodie and having a nice steaming cup of coffee with some cookies on the side. If Oreo is on the same page as me, that would mean that Java Chip will hit shelves sometime around September, just as the weather is changing. Of course, that’s a total guess, but a girl can dream. Either way, more coffee-flavored snacks, please! They’re my fav!
