When Jeffrey Epstein was arrested and put behind bars in July 2019, no one would have believed he’d never come out again. However, the 66-year-old wasn’t prepared to face justice for sex trafficking underage girls for decades (or, if you’re a conspiracy theorist, his fellow high-powered offenders weren’t prepared to hear Epstein name names), and he was found dead in his cell on August 10 that year. Now, four years later, the name of Jeffrey Epstein’s final prison visitor has been revealed.
According to The Daily Mail, Karyna Shuliak, a Belarusian dentist with whom Epstein was in a relationship since 2020 (though photos of them together date back to 2014), was the final person to visit him behind bars. Not only did she speak to him on the phone on August 10, the day before he died, but the 30-year-old is also on the record as the last visitor to see him in person at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan on July 30, 11 days prior to his death.
According to reports, Jeffrey Epstein and Karyna Shuliak had a “very serious” 7-year relationship and his feelings for the younger woman were very strong. It’s said that he ordered his lawyers to leave the room when he had his final phone call with Shuliak, with a source saying, “Everyone had to leave the room because he was so eager to get on the phone.”
“If he didn’t use the phone right then he would miss his window so the meeting ended abruptly and he went to use the phone and the lawyers all left.”
It’s said that Karyna Shuliak came to the US in 2009 and married one of Jeffrey Epstein’s associates, Jennifer Kalin, so that she would be alowed to stay in the country. She soon entered into a relationship with Epstein and stayed with him despite his inability (or unwillingness) to be faithful to her. In return, he paid for her mother’s medical costs and helped renovate their home.
