Johnny Depp’s Former Lawyer Is Divorcing Her Husband To Be With Him

For months, people were convinced that Johnny Depp was dating one of the attorneys representing him in his $50 million defamation suit against Amber Heard. The chemistry between Depp and Camille Vasquez was palpable, fans claimed, and they looked too comfortable with one another not to be totally in love. Turns out, that was completely wrong. Johnny Depp is actually dating Joelle Rich. She’s an attorney, yes, but she represented him in his UK libel trial, not his American one. Not only that, but Rich is apparently divorcing her husband (and the father of her two kids) to be with the Pirates of the Caribbean star. Wow.

  1. Apparently, Johnny Depp and Joelle Rich aren’t just messing around — it’s serious. An insider told US Weekly that the feelings between the pair are very real. “Their chemistry is off the charts. It’s serious between them. They are the real deal,” they claimed.
  2. However, they’re still not exclusive. At least according to TMZ, which confirms that the pair are hot and heavy but insists that they’re not in a proper relationship. In fact, Depp has apparently recently been spotted getting close with another woman while shooting a new movie in France, so there’s that.
  3. The pair were together during Depp’s defamation suit earlier this year. It’s said that even though she wasn’t part of Depp’s legal team at this point, she still came to court every day to show her “support” for her new boyfriend. “There was no professional obligation for her being there. It was personal,” the source continued. They met up “discretely” during this time so as not to draw additional attention.
  4. Joelle Rich clearly thinks Johnny Depp is worth ruining her marriage over. She was very much married and together with her husband when she met Depp, but is now divorcing him and the pair are believed to be estranged. Needless to say, given all the newfound attention the pair are receiving, Rich has since made her social media profiles private.
