Jose Cuervo’s New Light, Ready-To-Drink Strawberry Margarita Is Summer In A Bottle Jose Cuervo

The hits keep coming from Jose Cuervo. Not only are they releasing a new line of tequila-infused hard seltzer, but now they’ve gone and released a reduced-calorie strawberry margarita that’s not only delicious, it’s ready to drink right out of the bottle! Something tells me this is going to be my go-to drink this summer.

  1. Jose Cuervo’s Strawberry Light Margarita has only 120 calories per serving. Given that fruity cocktails tend to be pretty high in calories, the fact that the brand has managed to make a calorie-reduced drink that tastes just as good as the original is pretty incredible. Even if you’re not calorie counting, you can at least feel a bit better about drinking multiple glasses full!
  2. All you need to do is pour and drink. While plenty of brands (including Jose Cuervo) have margarita mixes for sale that you have to make yourself, the Strawberry Light Margarita is all ready to go, meaning all you need to do is pour it in a salt-rimmed glass, add some ice, and go to town. Plus, less time spent in the kitchen means more time to spend with your friends and family actually drinking, which is always a good thing, right? Right.
  3. If strawberry isn’t your flavor, there are others available. Strawberry Light Margaritas are the most recent addition to Jose Cuervo’s range, joining watermelon, mango, and grapefruit tangerine versions. That means there’s pretty much something for everyone.
  4. It’s out now, so you can grab it at your local store. Jose Cuervo’s Strawberry Light Margarita is available in 1.75L bottles for around $15.99, which is a total bargain if you ask me. You can get them wherever alcohol is sold and it’s just rolling out to stores nationwide, so if you don’t see it on your local shelves, keep your eyes peeled.
