This Kissing Coffee Cup Lid Is The Answer For Lonely Singles Everywhere

Two of life’s greatest pleasures are a daily cup of coffee and kissing someone nice. While coffee is pretty widely available wherever you are in the world, it’s not always possible to lock lips with someone, especially if you’re hopelessly single. Thankfully, Jang WooSeok has your backā€”he’s created a coffee cup lid that will kiss you back.

  1. It’s all about creating a different coffee drinking experience. As WooSeok explained on his Behance page about his invention, “I love both coffee and kisses. I always have coffee a day, but can’t [always kiss someone].” He explains that instead of putting a straw in the coffee cup, you get to make lip-to-lip contact with the human face on your coffee lid for a “visually funny and emotionally different” coffee experience.
  2. There’s even a nose for a more realistic kiss. WooSeok admitted that the nose wasn’t part of the initial prototype, but without it, the kiss just wasn’t quite right. After adding the nose to the disposable lid, everything started coming together. The design was a combination of two goals: looking friendly and resembling Ancient Greek statues. Mission accomplished, I’d say!
  3. There’s so much humor in this product. In case you’re worried that WooSeok is a little bit creepy, relax! In reality, he knows how hilarious it is and that’s part of his inspiration. He wants to bring smiles to people’s faces, which is why he added in the extra touch of the “Caution: I’m hot” message on the lid, which gives a whole different meaning to the classic warning since, you know, you’re locking lips with it.
  4. The lid isn’t WooSeok’s only amazing invention. The talented Korean designer has also created an amazing eco-toilet, a massage brush that attaches to your computer mouse, and a cool biker chair, among other things. Check out his Behance page for more examples of his creative work.
