It’s hard to believe that it was all the way back in November 2019 that we first heard that Kit Kat was potentially releasing four new pie flavored bars in 2020. Well, it’s nearly summer and there’s finally confirmation that one of those flavors will be hitting shelves soon. It’s official: Kit Kat Apple Pie is coming to a store near you this summer.
- I’ve never been so happy to find out a rumor is true! While there’s still no word on whether Chocolate Cream Pie, Blueberry Pie, or Sweet Potato Pie Kit Kats will be following the Apple Pie version, I’m glad they started with the best and that this actually coming to fruition. So often we hear teasers of products that are in development but never go beyond that. I’m so glad this one has!
- They sound incredible. I’ve had Japanese Kit Kats that were apple pie-flavored but from the description, I can tell these are different. You’re basically looking at your standard crisp wafers that are then covered in apple pie-flavored white creme. I can just taste them already!
- Apple Pie Kit Kats will be out next month. According to Best Products, a Hershey’s PR rep confirmed that the bars will begin rolling out in stores in July 2020, which isn’t very far away now! They’ll be available in 1.05-oz. standard sized bars and will sell for somewhere around $1.09, though I’m sure they’ll end up on sale in plenty of supermarkets and drugstores.
- Sadly, they are limited edition. While Hershey’s hasn’t given a hard date as to when Apple Pie Kit Kats will be ripped out of our hands and mouths forever, we do know that they won’t be around for long. This is perhaps to make way for the other new pie flavors later in the year, but the bottom line is that you love these, you’d better stock up while you can.
