Listen, Kit Kats are always delicious regardless of the flavor, but sometimes there’s a release that sounds so delicious that I basically want to buy and eat in bulk immediately. The new Kit Kat Lemon Crisp bar is one such flavor, and they’re starting to hit shelves as we speak.
- They come in miniature size so you can share if you want. So far, only a few Instagram accounts have seen the Lemon Crisp Kit Kats in the wild, and they seem to be on sale at Red Lion, if you have one of those in your local area. The bags include 12 mini two-finger bars in a sharing bag, so if you’re not stingy, you can share with your friends or colleagues.
- This is a natural expansion of Kit Kats flavors. At the end of 2019, Kit Kat teased a few new flavors including Apple Pie, Chocolate Cream Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, and Blueberry Pie. Obviously Lemon Crisp is something completely new and different, and frankly, it’s the most exciting yet.
- These are going to be the perfect spring treat, I just know it. I’m not sure if they’ll be quite as good as the Salt Lemon Kit Kats that have been out for a while in Japan, but I’m willing to give them a try. The Salt Lemon flavor is exactly what it sounds like: a white chocolate lemon topping/flavor with a hint of saltiness to them, and they’re delicious. The UK also has a Lemon Drizzle flavor, but it seems those are still covered with milk chocolate, which is kinda weird. Anyway, these ones are gonna be perfect.
- Keep an eye out at your local store getting closer to Easter. It was only just Christmas and New Year, but you know that stores can never let us have a rest between holidays, which means Lemon Crisp Kit Kats should be hitting shelves at a store near you soon.
