I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I basically love all flavors of Kit Kat. I was super psyched to hear that they’re releasing a birthday cake flavored bar next year, but that news paled in comparison to the ridiculous excitement I felt when I discovered the four other new flavors that will also be hitting shelves in the new year.

- I hope you like pie. I mean, I know who doesn’t like pie, but seriously. The four newly confirmed flavors are all pie-inspired. Chocolate Cream Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, Blueberry Pie, and and Apple Pie are in the line-up, so basically you’ll get to enjoy Thanksgiving desserts all year long.
- That’s not all! Kit Kat has also hinted at Cotton Candy, Orange Creamsicle, and Cherry Cola flavored bars being released soon after rumors began floating around on social media and online that those bars were among the new line-up. Kit Kat tweeted pictures of six bars out of their packaging that seemed to confirm the rumors, so I’m all for it.
- I feel like Kit Kat is toying with our emotions. They don’t want to confirm exactly which flavors we can expect save for the pie ones, so it’s hard to know what we can expect in 2020 from the brand. Either way, it’s sure to be delicious and something I will buy, so I guess I just have to anxiously wait for these things to hit stores.
- There’s no release date yet even for the confirmed flavors. All we know is that they’re coming next year, but that could be in winter, spring, summer or not until next fall to coincide with Thanksgiving. Hopefully it won’t actually come to that and the wait will be short, but who knows? In the meantime, I still have a stash of green tea Kit Kats to tide me over.
