Lindsay Lohan is giving fans what they want by releasing her cover of “Jingle Bell Rock” on streaming platforms everywhere. The 36-year-old, who’s starring in the upcoming Netflix holiday movie “Falling for Christmas,” now has the song available for pre-save on all music streaming platforms. Looks like Santa has come early!

  1. Lindsay Lohan’s cover of “Jingle Bell Rock” is a great nod to “Mean Girls.” Lest we forget, she did a performance of the song at the school talent show with Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried. Lohan covering the track 18 years after the release of “Mean Girls” is such a fun, nostalgic touch. Maybe it was purely coincidental, but either way, fans are loving it.
  2. The “Jingle Bell Rock” cover played over the trailer for “Falling for Christmas.” That means we’ve already had a sneak peek of what it sounds like, and it’s great. It’s exactly what we need to get in the holiday spirit.
  3. Lest we forget, Lohan has done plenty of singing. She released two albums, “Speak” (2004) and “A Little More Personal (Raw)” (2005). She even did some singing in several of her movies including “Freaky Friday,” “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen,” and “Prairie Home Companion.”
  4. “Falling For Christmas” will be available to stream next month. The Netflix synopsis for the movie reads: “A newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress (Lohan) gets into a skiing accident, suffers from total amnesia, and finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner (Chord Overstreet) and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.” Sounds good to us! Having Lindsay Lohan doing a “Jingle Bell Rock” cover is the icing of an already excellent cake.

“Falling For Christmas” will be released on Netflix on November 11. Lohan’s cover of “Jingle Bell Rock” will be available to stream from November 4. Not too much longer to wait!
