As humans, we know all too well how much we love our pets and they’re like our family members. Even animals we don’t own are near and dear to our hearts. It’s like these precious, innocent creatures pull some deep-rooted softness and compassion out of us that we just can’t resist. Perhaps that’s why engaged couple Adam and Tara decided to invite a llama at Llama Adventures in Arcade, New York to be a groomsman in their wedding.
Llama Adventures is a llama farm that invites the public to visit the animals and has all kinds of up close and personal experiences with them including hikes, educational sessions, and more. They also allow visitors to incorporate the llamas into a special event, and what better way to include them than in a wedding?
J the llama got to dress up in a groomsman outfit and take part in Adam and Tara’s recent wedding, posing for photos with other members of the wedding party as well as the bride and groom. You have to admit that he looks very dapper and seems honored to be part of such a big day.
Not much is known about how the couple decided on including the animal in the wedding ceremony, or how much of it J stayed around for. For instance, did the llama see them exchange vows? Did it hang out for the duration of the ceremony and see them take their first kiss? Likely not, of course. Chances are, J took his pictures and was off doing llama things in no time.
Photos of the llama groomsman at Tara and Adam’s wedding have brought a smile to many people’s faces, that’s for sure. It’s not every day you see something so adorable and wholesome on the internet, so we have to embrace it and enjoy it for all it’s worth.
