Lucky Charms Is Finally Releasing A Bag Of Just The Marshmallows Lucky Charms

It should go without saying at this point that the marshmallows are the best part of Lucky Charms and I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that I could eat a whole bowl of just those. It’s not exactly revolutionary, of course – bags of cereal marshmallows have been available to purchase for a few years now. The difference is that now Lucky Charms is releasing bags of their actual marshmallows for a limited time only!

  1. This is a first for General Mills and Lucky Charms. The official Lucky Charms Twitter account teased the new product in a rather cryptic tweet posted on August 24, writing, “The magic will peak in the coming weeks.” That peak? A bag full of rainbow, heart, horseshoe, and star marshmallow bits. It’s about time!
  2. Only a select few have tried these before. Lucky Charms has hosted competitions in the past in which winners received boxes of just the marshmallows, but they’ve never had a wide release before and have never been available to the general public. Maybe they saw how lots of other brands were cashing in on this kind of product and decided they wanted a piece of the pie? Whatever the motivation, I’m here for it.
  3. They’ll be available nationwide next month. While the bag itself advertises the marshmallow-only Lucky Charms bags as being limited-edition, we don’t exactly know how long they’ll be available on store shelves. We do know that they’ll be released sometime in September and will run about $4 a bag, but beyond that, we have to live in fear of when these will be ripped from us!
  4. Don’t forget to eat some fruits and veggies, of course… As tempting as it might be to shovel entire bowls full of Lucky Charms marshmallows into your mouth for breakfast every morning, it’s probably better for your health if you pace yourself a bit. Of course, I probably won’t take my own advice, so do what you will!
