Man Caught Driving To Ex-Wife’s Grave To Pee On It Every Day By Woman’s Horrified Children

A New Jersey family was horrified to discover that their beloved mother’s ex-husband had been regularly urinating on her grave. Michael Murphy, 43, was fed up with his mother, Linda Louise Torello, having her final resting place desecrated, so he set up a hidden camera to find the culprit. What they discovered was worse than they could have imagined.

  1. The family was regularly finding bags of poo on the grave. They’d been left atop her headstone, leading Murphy and his family to place the camera there to catch the suspect in the act. When they watched the footage back, they were absolutely horrified to discover their mom’s ex-husband rolling up five days a week to pee there.
  2. The ex-husband even brought his current partner along with him one of the times. Given that the man and Murphy’s mother divorced more than 48 years ago, it’s unclear what the man’s motivation could be for doing such a terrible thing. However, the Daily Mail reports that he once told his daughter, Murphy’s half-sister, that he wished he never had her. Sounds like a lovely guy!
  3. Murphy shared the findings on his Facebook page, where friends and extended family members expressed their shock. “THIS IS BREAKING MY HEART. A man from Bergen county New Jersey has been leaving bags of poo and pissing on my mother’s tombstone almost every morning like a normal routine’ assisted by his wife also,” he wrote. “We have weeks and months of evidence. It has been reported to the police and the news outlets. No one in my family has had contact with him since 1976 or so how he found my mother’s grave site we are not sure. But this stems back to a problem almost 50 years ago. Pray for us thank you and please share this!!!”
  4. Sadly, the man is not facing any criminal charges. Despite being reported to police, it seems as though no investigation is underway and authorities won’t be pursuing charges against the man. However, the police did give the family permission to keep the camera near the gravesite.
  5. Since the footage was made public, the man has stopped coming by to pee on the woman’s grave. “I believe he stopped but I’m so protective at this point, I’ve been going every morning just in case. At least if he sees a car there he will be deterred to keep driving by because the police were a complete letdown,” he told the Daily Mail. “I promised my wife and kids I wouldn’t hurt him but I’m afraid to confront him because I wouldn’t be able to control myself if I got that close to him. He did this to my mother’s grave for months maybe years. Every cop I speak to has said ‘you’re a better man than me cause I would have killed him.'”
