Man Cuts Off Ears And Keeps Them In A Jar After Surgery To Make His Head Look Like A Skull

A German man paid roughly $8,000 to have his ears surgically removed in order to make his head look more like a skull. Sandro, who goes by the name Mr. Skull Face online, has already had 17 separate body modification procedures but plans to go even further in the future, potentially even having his nose cut off.

  1. Sandro now keeps his cut-off ears in a jar. The 39-year-old, from Finsterwalde, Germany, likely won’t be needing them again anytime soon, but I suppose keeping your own ears in a jar does have a bit of a novelty factor to it, if that’s what you’re into.
  2. He’s already had so many different procedures. Sandro, a tattoo addict, has had a number of things done including tongue splitting, forehead implants, forearm implants, implants in the backs of his hands, and many more. That sounds so painful!
  3. There’s still a lot Mr. Skull Face wants to get done. Not content to be earless, he also has plans to cut his nose off and have his eyeballs tattooed at some point in the near future. Of course, he’ll have to find a surgeon and a tattoo artist willing to do those things, but considering someone actually cut his ears off, that shouldn’t be a problem.
  4. He says it makes him more confident. While many describe Sandro as “sick” and “disturbed,” he insists that he does these things because he truly wants to and as a result, he feels way better about himself. He thinks that people need to stop judging him and see him for the person he is rather than how he looks.
  5. Sandro can’t get a job because of his extreme appearance. “My transformation has influenced my life, but I don’t care. I should be accepted as a person, and above all because of my inner values,” he explained. “My appearance has had a huge impact on my chances of getting a job because a lot of companies are still very conservative and prefer to go with the flow. I think that I have often been rejected from jobs because of my appearance.”
  6. He can’t seem to find a good relationship either. While it would be nice for Sandro to find a nice partner to share his life with, he ultimately knows that he’s cool on his own and won’t stop marching to the beat of his own drum to please other people. “I think that it has of course had an effect on me finding a relationship, as it scares most people off, but of course, many people also find it very interesting,” he said. “Friends have tried to talk me out of the modifications, especially when it came to cutting off my ears, but I’m just a person who likes to go his own way. If people stare I really don’t care. If someone says something like ‘you are a sick old man’ then I will answer with ‘thank you for the compliment’.” Good for him!
