Man Named Le’Genius Gets Arrested Again For Doing Very Dumb Things Pinellas County Sheriff's Office

A Florida man by the name of Le’Genius Williams may want to consider changing his name after he was arrested yet again for doing some pretty dumb things. The 22-year-old was arrested earlier this month on felony gun and drug charges, and this isn’t his first time behind bars.

  1. Le’Genius has served time before. Despite his young age, Le’Genius already served time for robbery and attempted murder. When he was 13, he shot a 15-year-old boy and was sentenced to eight years in prison for the attempt on the victim’s life. He was released in late 2020. However, five months later, he was arrested again for driving without a license, illegally possessing a handgun, and cocaine possession.
  2. He tried to run from police after committing his latest crime. According to Pinellas County sheriffs, Williams hit his girlfriend in the face with a handgun and then ran away from the crime scene in St. Petersburg in a Chevy driven by an accomplice. The vehicle was later stopped when police performed a pit maneuver.
  3. A search of the car landed Le’Genius in even more hot water. Police discovered two loaded guns as well as cocaine and fentanyl, according to a court filing obtained by the Smoking Gun.
  4. Le’Genius was booked into the county jail. He was charged with domestic battery, drug trafficking, narcotics possession, and weapons offenses and is being held on $77,000 bond. The bond on his 2021 case was revoked in light of the latest arrest.
