It seems like we’ve been waiting absolutely ages for the Friends reunion. Considering it was confirmed way back at the beginning of this year, the fact that it still hasn’t aired is driving fans crazy. Of course, no one could have predicted that the COVID-19 crisis would be so devastating and long-lasting, so it makes sense. However, it is good to know the one-off special will finally air in the new year.
Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March. Looks like we have a busy year coming up. And that's the way I like it!

- Matthew Perry revealed the news. The actor, who played Chandler Bing on the classic NBC sitcom, took to Twitter on Thursday, November 12 to put us all out of our misery and let us know that March 2021 would finally bring us the Friends reunion we’re all so desperate for.
- I knew 2021 was going to be a good year!! “Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March. Looks like we have a busy year coming up. And that’s the way I like it!” Perry wrote on the tweet, confirming what I’ve been feeling since the election results came out: 2021 is going to be so much better than 2020 (not that the bar is set very high there).
- The Friends reunion will be worth that wait. God bless Jennifer Aniston’s heart – she tried to assuage fans by insisting that the reunion’s delay just meant that they could make the show that eventually airs better than anyone could ever have expected. “You know what? This has also given us more time to make it even more exciting and more fun than it would have been,” she told Deadline in August.
- Whenever it airs, it’s going to be so good. I mean, could we BE any more excited?
