Ugh, is there anything better than McDonald’s french fries? As far as fast food goes, I’m pretty sure they’re my absolute favorite. In fact, I’ve been known to get two large fries just for myself. If you love them as much as I do, you’ll want to head to your local restaurant on Monday because McDonald’s is giving out free fries for National French Fry Day.
- Sadly, the free fries are a Medium. While it would be great if they gave away a large fries, considering the fact that we’re not paying for it, I suppose we need to be grateful that we’re getting anything at all. Hey, at least it’s a free medium fries and not a small?
- You’ll need the McDonald’s app to cash in on this. If you want your free fries on Monday, July 13, you’ll need to have the McDonald’s app downloaded and installed before you go. You can either use the Mobile Pay and Go feature so it’s all sorted in advance or you can scan the coupon at the kiosk, drive-thru, or front counter.
- You don’t need to buy anything else to get free fries. Listen, if I go to McDonald’s for some fries, I’m also getting a Diet Coke and a double cheeseburger. I just don’t see how the trip is worth it otherwise. However, if you’re not that hungry or you’re simply trying to show some self-restraint, you can get your free fries without buying anything else. How generous!
- The offer isn’t available at every McDonald’s restaurant. You’ll need to check the app to see if your local McDonald’s is participating. While it’s safe to assume that most US restaurants will be offering up free fries, it’s probably better to check before you head out the door so you don’t end up disappointed. Then again, they’re totally worth paying for.
