An MMA fighter whose entire body is covered in Nazi and far-right tattoos was beaten within the first three minutes of a fight in Russia. Mikhail Turkanov, 33, from St. Petersburg, has swastikas all over his body along with other symbols used by Nazis, leading many to be pretty happy with his quick defeat.
Very bad look for FNG to let a nazi fight in your promotion…. pic.twitter.com/RuQEQimosA

- The fight was against Alibeg Rasulov. Turkanov came up against Rasulov in a welterweight contest as part of the AMC Fight Nights promotion in Sochi.
- Viewers were immediately disturbed by Turkanov’s appearance. Many couldn’t believe that someone with so much offensive ink on his body would even be allowed to take part in the event in the first place.
- Thankfully, it didn’t take long for Rasulov to beat him. Turkanov wasn’t on TV screens or in front of the crowd for very long, as it took Rasulov only three minutes and four seconds to beat him via TKO. The referee then stopped the fight and Rasulov was proclaimed the winner.
- Hopefully, we won’t have to see Turkanov fight anymore. It’s completely unacceptable to promote that kind of hatred in a public forum. Turkanov’s viewpoints are based on prejudice and bigotry and to allow that to be displayed on TV for millions of people to watch lends credence to his harmful views.
