44-Year-Old Mom Double Dates With Daughter And Says Men Assume She’s A Catfish Because She’s So Hot

A 44-year-old woman who goes on double dates with her 21-year-old daughter says she’s often accused of being a catfish by men she meets online because of her incredible youthful appearance. Joleen Diaz isn’t worried about it, though – and why would she be? She looks great! Of course, being so beautiful does come with its fair share of downsides, as she knows all too well…

  1. Diaz has shared the secret to her appearance. While good genes undoubtedly play a role in looking so young, Joleen claims it’s all down to eating well and living clean. She exercises regularly, practices yoga and meditation, and eats healthy food. No doubt those things help, but there must be more than that!
  2. Diaz’s dating profiles keep getting deleted. She’s been looking for love on Hinge but sadly, her profile keeps getting deleted since people assume she’s a catfish when she says she’s 44 but looks like she’s only her daughter’s age. “It’s funny, I think people think I’m a fake account and report me,” she said.
  3. She’s actually extremely down-to-earth. While many people might be intimidated by someone so attractive, Diaz insists she’s actually just a normal, friendly person. That’s one reason she doesn’t promote her social media accounts on her dating apps. “I could link my Instagram to my profile, which would likely help prove that it’s really me but I don’t do it because I think my social media doesn’t present the simple, down-to-earth person I am,” she explained. “I’d like to be able to connect with someone and then explain my social media to them once they know me a bit more.”
  4. Younger women really seem to love Diaz. She has more than 625,000 Instagram followers, many of whom are young guys who can’t help but shoot their shot in her DMs. “I do get younger men messaging me on my social media. The majority of the messages are very polite and most are very complimentary and positive about me promoting a positive lifestyle,” she shared. “They do ask to go out on a date, maybe dinner or a hike, but I know that this is just curiosity and not a real intent on pursuing anything more than the narrative they think of me.”
  5. At the end of the day, she’s flattered by the attention. Diaz is proud of how she looks and appreciates when other people compliment her. “When younger men ask me out on dates, I find it equally as flattering as men my age or older asking me out,” she said. “I think it takes a lot of courage to approach someone and ask them to meet with you one-on-one. I think some younger men tend to fantasize a bit more about what it would be like dating someone older, whereas men my age or older are more pragmatic and looking for someone to enjoy simple things in life.”
