Mother’s Circus Animal Cookies Now Come In A Halloween Variety With Cats And Bats

It’s getting towards the end of summer, which means the time is nigh for Halloween treats to start hitting shelves. In addition to all the delicious candy (and yes, candy corn — I’m gross, I love it), I was also stoked to see that Mother’s Circus Animal Cookies are now available in fun seasonal shapes like bats and cats just in time, making them cuter and possibly more delicious than ever.

  1. They’ve been doing Halloween cookies for a while. Ten years, to be exact. However, previously the Halloween edition of Mother’s Circus Animal Cookies was in regular circus animal shapes, which isn’t as fun as the cats and bats in this year’s bags. These ones are covered in orange and white frosting and rainbow sprinkles too!
  2. They’ve been spotted at Dollar General stores. They’re even listed on the Dollar General website (sadly, you can’t order online), though they’re definitely available other places as well since they’re also listed at BevMo!, a liquor store that has locations in California, Arizona, and Washington. Chances are you can find them other places too!
  3. These would make a great Halloween treat. Though I haven’t seen them in person, we know that Mother’s Circus Animal Cookies are available in smaller treat-sized bags, and that may be the case with the Halloween version too. If so, they’d make a great addition to the trick-or-treat bowl for the neighborhood kids.
  4. Why wait until Halloween? Yes, they’re seasonal, but there’s nothing to say you can’t get in the holiday spirit a bit early and start “celebrating” now by eating several boxes of these in a row. If you can’t find them, keep your eyes peeled. In the meantime, the standard version should be readily available and is just as tasty, so you can still enjoy them in the meantime. I know I will!
