Mountain Dew’s New Raspberry Lemonade Flavor Might End Up Being Your New Favorite Soda

We’re already looking forward to the release of Mountain Dew Atomic Blue but now it seems like the brand may have yet another flavor up their sleeves that’s perfect for the warmer weather and just might become the flavor of summer 2020: Mountain Dew Spark, which is apparently raspberry lemonade-flavored. I need this now!

  1. The bottle first popped up on Reddit. The photo of the Mountain Dew Spark bottle, which was posted by u/MTDew1296, was uploaded on Sunday and fans immediately started going crazy. Is it real? Would it really make it onto supermarket shelves even if it did exist in prototype form? When would it be available? All good questions that unfortunately there are no answers to just yet.
  2. The poster received it as a sample at work. While u/MTDew1296 didn’t explicitly say that they work for the PepsiCo. company, it would make sense since that’s the parent company of Mountain Dew and it’s unlikely that they’d hand it out people outside of the company since there hasn’t been an official announcement about it just yet.
  3. It tastes like raspberry lemonade, apparently. When I think of lemonade, I’m automatically transported to summer. There’s nothing more refreshing than citrus and berries (well, any fruit) on a hot day, right? It would make perfect sense for brands to be working on their upcoming seasonal releases, so I have every hope that Mountain Dew Spark is the real deal and will be on shelves in the coming months.
  4. Mountain Dew Spark is limited edition so if it does come out, you’ll need to act quickly. According to the bottle artwork, this flavor is limited edition and therefore not part of the brand’s permanent lineup. You know what that means: if this sounds like your ideal flavor and you end up falling in love with it, you’ll want to stock up while you can.
