Like everyone else I know, I’m obsessed with The Great British Bake-Off, also known as The Great British Baking Show in America for some reason, and have watched every single season, some multiple times. It’s comforting, relaxing, and also really delicious-looking. Well, Netflix’s new reality competition series Big Flower Fight covers two of the three bases (please don’t eat non-edible flowers!) and it looks amazing!
If you think you're not going to get extremely stressed about/invested in floral arrangements, then you’re very wrong. The Big Flower Fight, hosted by Natasia Demetriou and Vic Reeves (!!!) arrives 18 May. pic.twitter.com/rMx0dmNg0K

- This is the wholesome content we need now! How savage can you really get when you’re fighting about flowers? Not very, and thank goodness for that. Netflix’s Big Flower Fight is full of fun and excitement and some nail-biting moments, but at the same time, it’s super wholesome and feels good for the soul. I think we can all use a little of that right now.
- So what’s it all about? As you can probably imagine, Big Flower Fight will see contestants going head-to-head to build the most amazing floral installations. Ten amateur floral sculptors have been chosen by Netflix to compete in weekly challenges that focus on different skillsets and believe me, it’s going to get really intense.
- This isn’t your average gardening. Something tells me a show where people are making run of the mill floral arrangements would be a little boring, which is why Netflix is going larger than life with Big Flower Fight. Some of the challenges include making supersize installations and large-scale sculptures that will wow anyone who see them. From the trailer alone, you can see how impressive the contestants’ talents really are!
- There’s a good message behind the show too. In addition to being good clean competition fun, Big Flower Fight will also shed a light on conservation efforts, and contestants will be asked to consider which plants and flowers are friendlier and contribute most to the ecosystem, which is pretty awesome.
- Sadly, we still have a little longer to wait! Netflix will premiere Big Flower Fight on May 18, which means we still have a couple of weeks to desperately wish we could binge it all now. I can’t wait!
