Netflix Drops ‘The Christmas Chronicles 2’ Official Trailer Netflix

I think I speak for us all when I say that Christmas can’t come soon enough. It’s been a long year and while it’s going to be a while before things get back to “normal,” I think we can all agree that what we really need is some good, clean fun. Thankfully, Netflix has just released the official trailer for The Christmas Chronicles 2 just in the nick of time. (Get it?)

  1. We got a mini teaser trailer last month but that wasn’t enough! The first sneak peek we got into The Christmas Chronicles 2 was only 37 seconds long and it barely showed anything from the movie, so this is the first real look we’ve been given into the lives of Mr. and Mrs. Claus. If anything, it only makes people even more excited!
  2. Mrs. Claus is a much bigger part of the sequel. Netflix has previously revealed that while Goldie Hawn appeared as Mrs. Claus in the first movie in a cameo capacity, this time around, Santa’s wife “gets her due.” That’s fantastic news, especially since Santa himself is played by Hawn’s real-life husband, Kurt Russell. Their chemistry is the best!
  3. Kate Pierce is reunited with Santa this time around too. As you can see in the trailer, Kate has turned into a cynical teenager but the magic of Christmas just might get to her when she is “unexpectedly reunited with Santa Claus when a mysterious troublemaker threatens to cancel Christmas.” She, Teddy, and their whole family are transported to the North Pole via a wormhole in The Christmas Chronicles 2, so you know things are about to get interesting.
  4. The Christmas Chronicles 2 hits Netflix on November 25. That means there’s still a bit of a wait, but at least you can watch the trailer on repeat until then!
