Netflix Reveals ‘Father Of The Bride’ Reunion Is Coming This Week

Netflix Reveals ‘Father Of The Bride’ Reunion Is Coming This Week Buena Vista Pictures

If you didn’t have any plans for this Friday, you do now! That’s because Netflix has announced that a Father of the Bride reunion is coming on September 25 and it’s not to be missed, especially since it seems to include all your favorite original cast members including Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Martin Short, and more!

  1. The details about the reunion are pretty sparse. To be fair, Netflix hasn’t told us much about what we can expect. Will the Father of the Bride reunion be a scripted one-off special? A panel discussion featuring cast and crew discussing their memories of the movie? We just don’t know what to expect!
  2. The teaser released by Netflix did get fans excited, though. The short clip showed George Banks’ email inbox with loads of messages from companies like the Clean Air Newsletter and Masks-R-Us. There’s also an email from his daughter Annie to let her dad know that she “finally got my wedding photos digitized!”
  3. Then there’s the good stuff. George’s inbox also included a message from son Matty, who urged his dad to RSVP to a video call/family meeting. “I checked, it doesn’t cost anything, so accept the invitation invite, okay?” the message read.
  4. It’s been a whopping 25 years since Father of the Bride came out. Feel old yet? I know I do! It’ll be good to catch up with them again! You can see the Father of the Bride reunion from 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. EST on Friday, September 25 on Netflix, YouTube, and Facebook.
