Now You Have To Worry About Guys Anonymously AirDropping Pics Of Their Junk To Your Phone

If you have an iPhone, you’ll know the Apple Airdrop feature that enables you to send and receive pictures and files completely wirelessly. Sadly, some pervs are abusing this app by anonymously AirDropping dick pics to women even though they’re complete strangers. WTF? Here’s what you need to know about this disgusting behavior so you don’t become a victim of it.

  1. It tends to happen on the subway. This sick trend was first noted in London back in 2015. Recently, reports of women being sent dick pics on the subway in New York came to light. So nasty! As if public transportation wasn’t obnoxious enough already.
  2. It’s not just a picture of a stranger’s junk. It’s bad enough to receive a disgusting pic from a stranger, but these guys who are AirDropping junk pics are on the same train as you, so you receive this pic and then imagine that the guy who sent it to you is actually watching your reaction from a distance. It’s highly disturbing and actually kind of scary.
  3. It’s easy to open the message by mistake. You might receive a note or be told that an iPhone nearby wants to share a note with you. Sounds benign enough, right? Wrong! You open it and there’s a picture of someone’s penis. Worse, when images are embedded in notes, they don’t offer you a preview of them, so you can easily open the message without thinking it’s nasty.
  4. It can lead to embarrassing situations. Not only is seeing a picture of some stranger’s penis bad enough, but you never know who could see it on your phone. What if your niece or grandmother happens to see your phone when the message comes through? Ugh. It can be distressing for lots of people, all victims of the douchebag who sent it.
  5. It’s sexual harassment. There’s no doubt that this is sexual harassment, committed by someone who’s in a public space but getting up in your private space. The guy who AirDrops the pics to your phone has to be within Bluetooth range of your phone, which means that he’ll be no more than 328 feet away from you. It’s too close for comfort, but even if he was thousands of miles away, it’s horrendous.
  6. You’ll likely feel trapped. One of the worst things about this trend is that it happens when you’re on public transport. You might not always be able to get off the train and make a run for it, so you have to sit there and wait for your stop while feeling like you’re being watched and monitored. You also don’t know who you’re dealing with—what if the guy comes over to speak to you? You don’t know what kind of psycho sent this to you. It’s unfair to have to be in this situation that can cause you a lot of mental distress.
  7. Guys who do this are cowards and losers. These guys are total losers—who resorts to such a disgusting thing as sending strangers penis pictures? They might think that this is a way to rebel against women’s anti-dick pic stance, but they need to get it into their thick heads that they can’t go around sending unsolicited dick pics.  If you haven’t been asked for it, don’t send it. This trend is basically about sicko men cornering women, forcing them to see their junk. Unacceptable!
  8. It’s one more thing that’s wrong with society. As a woman, you have to deal with so much crap when you step out your house and walk around in public. You have to deal with men saying sexist things or catcalling you, or trying to approach you in a public space. Enough is enough! Do you really need to deal with AirDropped penis pics on top of everything else? No, because you’re not going to stand for this or allow it to happen. You can take steps to stop this once and for all.
  9. Remember: this is illegal! In most states, showing your genitals in public is against the law. So, if you receive an AirDropped dick pic, you should report it to the police. It’s a must to save the picture, though, so that the police might be able to track down the guy who sent it. Yasssss! Now that’s a way to make these losers stop.
  10. You can prevent it from happening to you. It’s good to know that by fiddling with your iPhone settings, you can prevent penis pics from getting AirDropped to you. Go into your iPhone AirDrop settings and make sure that they’re set to “Contacts Only” so that only people who know you can send you files and images. Another idea is to put your settings on “Receiving Off” for awhile so that no one can reach you. If your settings are set to “Everyone,” you risk getting unsolicited pics from a dick.
