Leave it to Japan to come up with all the coolest products on the planet. A Japanese company aptly called Ocean Teabag has released a range of, well, teabags that turn into amazing 3D creatures in your mug when you add boiling water. Here’s what you need to know about their offerings.
- There are tons of sea animals to choose from. The teabags are available in everything from shark and octopus to manta rays and sea turtles and everything in between. The teabags are gorgeous, creative, and perfect for literally anyone you know who loves and appreciates wildlife.
- Not only that, but there are land mammals too. You can even buy teabags in raccoon, panda, fox, or cat shapes, just to name a few. They’re super cute and a lot of fun. Like the sea creature bags, each shape is filled with a different type of tea, from jasmine tea to rooibos and plenty of others.
- For something so beautiful, they’re not even expensive. While the prices do slightly differ depending on which animal you choose, they generally run about $16 for two to four bags. It might be a bit pricier than your normal box of Tetley, but I think it’s worth it for the added artistry.
- The company’s products are becoming so popular that many of the bags are currently on pre-order. While Ocean Teabags has been around for roughly three years now, according to Bored Panda, it’s only recently that the internet has picked up on the brand and the business has really started to skyrocket. Because of this, several of the animal teabags are currently available for pre-order only as more stock becomes available, meaning you might have to wait a little longer to bring the sea (or the land) to your teacup. Frankly, I think it’ll be worth the wait.
