Oreo Is Releasing A ‘Team USA’ Cookie With Layered Red, White, And Blue Creme Just In Time For The Olympics

You can always count on Oreo to regularly bring out new and interesting cookies in ridiculously delicious flavors. We’re not even out of January yet and we already know we’re getting Chocolate Marshmallow and Coconut Caramel as well as a Tiramisu flavor. Well, the brand isn’t done yet! We’ll apparently be getting a Team USA Oreo just in time for the Tokyo Olympics this summer!

🤪 N E W S T U F 🤪 Hello. Apologies for the lack of leaks. This time of year isn't as great and my secret elves are way too busy punching loving phrases into sugar hearts for Valentine's day to get me anything super groundbreaking. Coming soon is tiramisu Oreos and an Olympics themed oreo sporting three different color (yet regular flavor) cremes. Tiramisu has been shown yet I don't know if I've seen an in hand review, so here we are! Normal cookie, and a nice, spiced flavor profile from the tiramisu creme. I'm not a huge fan of the dessert, but the flavor profile is certainly unique to this cookie and doesn't taste too similar to any other Oreo in recent years. Definitely a plus! Tbe Olympic Oreos are standard, and have as much creme/calories as a mega stuf oreo, so nothing too groundbreaking — though your tongue might change colors with this one 👀👅😛 Tiramisu comes up with a solid 🚨 7.4 🚨 from me. Solid cookie — Nothing wrong with it. But for the love of God can we please bring back strawberry milkshake @oreo? Look for these soon! GIVEAWAY NEXT WEEK! 1. The new release was unveiled on Instagram. We can always count on @JunkFoodLeaks_ to bring us the inside information on new and exciting snacks coming our way, and this one is no exception. On January 24, the account showed photos of both the packaging for the Team USA Oreos as well as the actual cookies. “Coming soon is … an Olympics themed oreo sporting three different color (yet regular flavor) cremes,” the post read.
2. Even the cream is patriotic. It’s not just the packaging that’s celebrating the best of the US of A. The cookie is actually filled with a triple-layer creme in red, white, and blue shades. According to @JunkFoodLeaks, the creme is about as high as a triple-stuffed Oreo but despite the different colors, it’s all the standard vanilla flavor.
3. The colors may come off in your mouth. JunkFoodLeaks_ also said that while the creme tastes like standard Oreo creme, the colors are achieved through food colorings that will stain your tongue. Not a big deal by any means, but it might give you away if you happen to eat the whole package in a sitting without leaving any for your colleagues/partner/BFFs…
4. They should hit stores this summer. Delish reached out to Oreo to confirm the release of Team USA Oreos and good news—they are actually coming our way! “Yes, we can confirm that Team USA OREO cookies will be available this summer,” a rep said, “but that’s not all! As a proud sponsor of Team USA, OREO will have even more for fans to enjoy ahead of the 2020 Games, stay tuned!” I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait.
